The hordes of furious SNAP beneficiaries provide insight into the purpose of the welfare state as well as the purpose of the Schumer Shutdown. Democrats have been breeding armies of these people, starting with Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” in the 1960s. In the face of Trump’s remarkably successful second presidency, the radicals now calling the shots within the party believe the time has come for them to be deployed.
The ultimate goal is to cause the destabilization required for maniacs to take control, as with Bolsheviks in Russia and Nazis in Germany.
