Reelected Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Will Help Make NYC Uninhabitable

Rabidly anticop Islamocommunist Zohran Mamdani is only the tip of the iceberg of moonbattery than New Yorkers have chosen to steer into:

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg quietly sailed through his reelection bid, securing more than 70% of the vote.

Bragg was originally installed in office by sinister leftist financier George Soros as part of his campaign to destabilize the country with pro-criminal DAs.

Given that it is no longer safe to walk down the street in Manhattan, how is it possible that Bragg was reelected in a landslide?

Bragg was able to effectively deflect when confronted with concerns about public safety by pointing to some of the more misguided criminal justice reforms enacted by Albany Democrats prior to his taking office — particularly the state’s 2020 discovery reform, which Bragg sharply and repeatedly critiqued.

Between that, the 2020 bail reform, the 2018 juvenile justice reform, and the 2021 parole reform, Bragg had plenty of scapegoats to point to if ever he was accused of doing too little enforcement.

Bragg says his fellow leftist radicals at the state level are to blame for the crime that is making NYC unlivable and not him. New Yorkers are evidently clueless enough to buy this. Due to moonbattery and mass immigration, the population is no longer fit to govern itself.

If Bragg could not maintain public order under former police officer Eric Adams, imagine the situation that will soon unfold:

[Mamdani] has committed to abolishing the city’s gang database, the subject of pending legislation the city council will likely pass next year.

He has promised to strip the NYPD’s commissioner of her authority over police officer discipline and hand it to the anti-cop Civilian Complaint Review Board.

And he has vowed not to add to the already understaffed NYPD’s quickly dwindling ranks.

If there are any sane people left in New York, they are advised to escape immediately. But any who bring Democrat voting habits with them deserve to be forcibly returned.

On a tip from abcanc.
