In a fitting tribute to the federal holiday John Cornyn et al. established to celebrate black lawlessness, 39 people were shot in Chicago last weekend, six fatally. Pro-criminal Mayor Brandon Johnson has no comment. He sounds the alarm on violence — but only imaginary violence, which fits the liberal narrative.

The New York Post reports:

Johnson declared he was reupping the city’s “Trans Femicide State of Emergency” to highlight violence against transgender women — despite just one reported killing of a trans person this year, compared with nearly 200 other murders across the city.

The single transsexual murdered in Chicago this year was a guy calling himself Davonta Curtis…

…whose boyfriend, 24-year-old Deandre Bell, beat [him] to death with a hammer while [he] slept. Bell is now facing first-degree murder charges.

Doesn’t sound much like transphobia. Maybe Bell was wearing a MAGA hat like Jussie Smollet’s assailants.

Barks Brandon Johnson:

“Since declaring a Transfemicide State of Emergency, our administration has strengthened the City’s capacity to support LGBTQ+ Chicagoans. This framework builds on that work by centering the voices and lived experiences of trans Chicagoans to chart a path toward a safer, more connected city.”

There are plenty of reasons to declare a state of emergency in Chicago. Johnson being mayor tops the list. Transfemicide does not even come in at the bottom.
