Toto has pulled back the curtain, providing a glimpse behind the scenes at PBS, preeminent news source for liberal elitists and indoctrinator of small children with the leftist point of view.

Project Veritas released a sting video Tuesday where a man — identified by the independent media org as Michael Beller, principal counsel at PBS — says on video that the children of supporters of President Donald Trump should be seized and placed in “re-education camps.”

PBS propagandists adopt a snootily bland tone on the air. Behind the scenes, they might talk more like Beller:

“Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters, and Homeland Security will take their children away, and we’ll put [Trump supporters’ children] into re-education camps,” the man, identified as Beller in the undated video, says.

PBS children’s programming aims to turn every American home into a re-education camp. As Beller says of the “enlightment camps” where the confiscated children of Trump voters should be incarcerated, “they’re nice. They have Sesame Street characters in the classroom, and they watch PBS all day.”

This is rich:

The individual in the video derides Americans as “f[***]ing dumb” before he praises Washington, D.C. — one of the most left-wing and partisan Democrat cities in America — as populated by “educated” residents.

DC schools are among the worst in the country. But the important thing is that the population is so far to the left that it elected Muriel Bowser, the mayor who responded to hundreds of devastating BLM riots by painting BLACK LIVES MATTER in giant letters on 16th Street leading to the White House.

Ironically, Beller describes people who don’t vote like he does as “intolerant, horrible people.” Beller…

…says the spread of COVID-19 in “red states” is “great” because it both dissuades Republicans from coming out to vote while afflicting and killing other Republicans.

That’s okay. Anyone right of center is used to being hated by the sort of people who run the media. But now comes the irritating part:

PBS, a left-wing news media outlet, benefits from 501(c)(3) charitable status with the IRS through its PBS Foundation, a national umbrella organization supporting its local affiliates. Its registration as a charity provides PBS with exemptions from federal income taxes while allowing it to issue charitable receipts for donations from its benefactors. It also receives direct federal government funding, with its local affiliates receiving various funds from state and local governments.

It is a relief to know that there are still limits to the arrogance at PBS. For allowing himself to be recorded while expressing viciously vindictive leftist views, Beller has been thrown overboard:

PBS released a statement saying, “This employee no longer works for PBS. As a mid-level staff attorney, he did not speak on behalf of our organization, nor did he make any editorial decisions.”

Beller has become a liability, now that the whole country can hear him say that if Trump were to win the 2020 election, he would “go to the White House and throw Molotov cocktails.” That doesn’t support the post–Capitol Riot narrative that all Republicans are maniacs who want to overthrow the government because they lost the election.
