I was skeptical that Biden’s handlers would dare subject him to the vastly sharper Trump in debates. Even Nancy Pelosi has effectively admitted that Biden is not up to it. But since the Babylon Bee has reported that Biden will debate, I believe it:

“Because of the coronavirus concern, we will need to take extra precautions,” said Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon. “Biden will need to wear an extra safe face mask that will cover his entire face. And while wearing it, his voice might sound different — even have a different accent — but that’s just because of… the mask.”

Special outfits like Biden might wear can distort the voice strangely. The accent might even remind some of George Soros.
