Don’t call it a flagrant waste of taxpayer money. Don’t call it a massive litter dump onto a country that is already becoming buried in garbage. Call it racial equity. Because everything that comes out of the Biden’s Handlers Administration is marketed as racial equity — even the plan to blow $86 million on cheap masks that will end up in the gutter.

The Biden administration will spend $86 million to send more than 25 million masks to community health centers, food pantries, and soup kitchens to encourage more Americans to wear masks to help stop the coronavirus pandemic. …

[Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff] Zients touted the new program as another example of President Biden keeping his promise to focus on “racial equity” as he continued to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

The pandemic is not about the pandemic. It is about racial equity. Furthermore, racial equity is not about racial equity. The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the consolidation of power by the Left. Everything Democrats do, including wasting our money on sanctimonious gestures, is about consolidating power.

“It’s part of our equity strategy and central to that,” Zients said.

“Equity” entails absolute government power, because nothing less can ensure that no disfavored groups are ever more successful at anything than favored groups.

On his first day in office, Biden issued an executive order mandating masks on federal property.

You must wear a mask. Here’s your free mask that you will pay for through inflation. You’re welcome.

Shoehorning “free” masks into racial politics confirms that the masks are not primarily to keep the virus from spreading. They are to suppress your individual identity. People can tell whether you are white or black even with a mask on, and that’s all anyone needs to know.
