Joe Biden robbed the pockets of everyone who holds American currency by driving up inflation with his BLM-style looting spree, epitomized by the $891 billion wasted mainly on climate change boondoggles that Democrats arrogantly call the Inflation Reduction Act. Fortunately, big government always has a solution to the problems it creates. Not so fortunately, that solution is always more big government, guaranteeing worse problems ahead.

This level of stupidity could only be described as Bidenesque:

Biden acknowledged Monday that prices are still “too high” and argued that companies should lower them after an 18% jump in consumer costs since he took office.

Even if inflation is putting food out of reach, there’s no need to cut back on wasteful spending or ease up on the War on Energy that raises the price of everything. Just order people who charge the prices to lower them.

Falling back on the Marxist rhetoric we have become accustomed to from Democrats, Biden denounces the corporations that are now dominated by liberals but that still serve as useful scapegoats for left-wing demagogues:

“It’s time to stop the price gouging and give the American consumer a break.”

The bigger crisis hits when businesses fail to salute sharply and lower their prices below what they must charge to stay afloat given Biden’s degradation of the dollar. That’s when we get price controls — immediately followed by empty shelves.
