Pete Buttigieg is wise to be ostentatiously gay. Otherwise, how could the mediocre mayor of a small city achieve such stature — especially considering that he is a clown? This gives an idea of how far Mayor Pete is from a serious person: as Secretary of Transportation, he proclaims that once Big Government has spent vast sums of money we don’t have on electric vehicles, we will never again have to worry about the gas prices that have been driven into the stratosphere by his party’s War on Energy.

The Washington Examiner reports:

“Most of the physical infrastructure work was contemplated in the bill that was just signed, but there is more envisioned in the Build Back Better law,” Buttigieg explained. “I’ll give you one example: It contains incentives to make it more affordable to buy an electric vehicle, up to a $12,500 discount in effect for families thinking about getting an EV.”

“Families that once they own that electric vehicle will never have to worry about gas prices again,” he added.

Good thing he was on the friendly platform MSNBC. Otherwise, he might have gotten an embarrassing question about where the electricity will come from to make the massively subsidized EVs go. Windmills and solar panels are too unreliable and inefficient to provide more than a small fraction of it.

Meanwhile, liberals are floating a Kamala Harris/Pete Buttigieg 2024 presidential ticket, because it would check both the Woman of Color and LGBT boxes, even though both pols have proven themselves utterly incompetent in their current positions. No matter; if Buttigieg gets a sex change operation and converts to Islam, it will be the liberal dream ticket.
