Kamala Harris’s ideological qualifications to serve as Joe Biden’s border czar emerged during her previous run for president. She promised to shut down detention centers for illegal aliens “absolutely on day one”:
Q: “When you become president, would you be committed to close the immigration detention centers?”
Kamala: “Absolutely, on day one. On day one.”
