CBS Gets Emmy Nomination for Deceptive Editing

If New York Times propagandist Walter Duranty deserved the Pulitzer Prize for whitewashing the horrific Stalin regime and hiding the Holodomor from the public, the apparatchiks at CBS’s 60 Minutes have an Emmy coming for the infamously deceptive editing job they did on a Kamala Harris interview during election season.

The nominations for the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Thursday. “60 Minutes” landed several nods, most notably in the Outstanding Edited Interview category for its primetime special featuring then-Vice President Kamala Harris…

CBS altered the interview so shamelessly that Trump has filed a $20 billion lawsuit for election interference.

The lawsuit stems from an exchange Harris had with “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker, who asked her why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasn’t “listening” to the Biden administration.

Harris was widely mocked for the “word salad” answer that aired in a preview clip of the interview on “Face the Nation.” However, when Whitaker asked the same question during the primetime special, Harris had a different, more concise response. Critics at the time accused CBS News of editing Harris’ “word salad” answer to shield the then-vice president from further backlash leading up to Election Day.

As the nomination implies, the liberal establishment media takes pride in the sins it commits against journalism for the sake of its malign ideology.
