Dem Pols Carjacked
What goes around, comes around. Our Democrat overlords seem to think they will be safe from the chaos they have unleashed on the rest of us, as if the bubble of propaganda and privilege they exist inside will protect them. It didn’t work out that way for Illinois Senate Majority Leader Kimberly Lightford, who was carjacked Tuesday night in the Chicago suburb Broadview:
Police said, around 9:45 p.m., three masked individuals driving a Dodge Durango carjacked Lightford as she was driving a Mercedes Benz SUV in the 2000 block of South 20th Avenue, along with her husband. …
The carjackers fired shots during the attack, but Lightford and her husband were not injured, according to police.
Like Chicago, Philadelphia has been reduced to a crime-infested hellhole by liberal rule. That’s where what goes around, came around again the next day. This time, the victim was congresscritter Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA):
Scanlon was carjacked at gunpoint following a meeting in Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in South Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon, her spokeswoman announced.
Only Scanlon’s belief system was hurt.
[A] Philadelphia Police Department spokeswoman confirmed that law enforcement officials are searching for two African-American male suspects between the ages of 20 and 30.
That sure narrows it down.
At least we know that whoever the culprits are, they are victims of systemic racism, exactly the sort of people Democrats defund the police to protect — or rather to enable.
If a Republican is a Democrat who has been carjacked, there could be a couple of defections on the horizon.
