Democrat Backup Plan to Block Trump From Office
Winning a democratic election is one thing. Prying the “Democratic” Party loose from power is another:
Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., said Friday that the Democrats will support the peaceful transfer of power in January, but only “If it’s a free and fair election.”
By which he means, “If Democrats win or can cheat enough to appear to win.”
There is a backup plan in case they can’t.
Back in March of this year, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously overturned a Colorado case that attempted to keep Trump off the ballot in that state because, they said, he had “engaged in insurrection” by inciting the January 6 riot, in violation of the 14th Amendment.
That the antidemocratic move by Colorado leftists was blocked 9-0 is another reason Democrats plan to pack the Supreme Court with apparatchiks that will make Ketanji Brown Jackson look like Antonin Scalia.
Raskin’s reaction at the time was to begin crafting legislation that would get around that Supreme Court decision.
This wouldn’t be the first time Raskin attempted to thwart the will of voters:
Raskin was one of several Democratic congressmen who attempted to block Trump’s taking office in 2017 after he had defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, according to CNN.
Brace yourself for a blast of irony; Ratskin self-righteously denounces Trump for allegedly refusing to commit to an orderly transition of power.
Mike Benz has more on the plans of Ratsass & Co.:
The potential coup coordination planning group here is called State Democracy Defenders Action. State AGs should keep a close eye on this group over the next 2 months, as they are doing what Bidenworld State AGs went after Trumpworld for allegedly doing in 2020 but 100x worse. https://t.co/ErXW05Bl8g pic.twitter.com/hQbLYZMLy8
