You might call the strategy “atomization.” Covid restrictions over the past year have made it easier for them to use their control of the media to make it seem that each of us is the last sane person left, so we may as well give it up and be absorbed by the moonbat Borg. But there are still other sensible people out there. They just need someone to rally around — like Ron DeSantis.

Watch as DeSantis turns around a journalist’s attack and rams it down the throat of the entire liberal establishment she represents, earning himself a standing ovation:

Ronald Reagan’s strength was that he could talk past the media power brokers to the American people. They banned Trump from social media to prevent him from doing the same. DeSantis has a gift for talking past them too. That’s why they keep stepping on rakes in their hysterical eagerness to tear him down.
