The federal government has been providing security at the southern border after all. No, the feds are not preventing the massive incursion into the USA that dwarfs the invasion of Ukraine in historical significance. They are there to make sure journalists do not draw attention to it:

Journalists with the Real America’s Voice TV network were detained by border patrol agents at the southern U.S. border on Friday, with a reporter describing being “detained at gunpoint” amid the open crossing of illegal immigrants into the United States.

Ben Bergquam, a reporter with Real America’s Voice … posted a video depicting him in the back of a border patrol vehicle, showing what appeared to be a border patrol agent directing Bergquam’s colleagues with his gun drawn.

With Democrats in charge, agents of the government work for America’s enemies.

Speaking of which, there is no need to arrest representatives of the mainstream media, who would not dream of distracting from the hype by reminding us that Ukraine is not the only country undergoing invasion.
