Former New York Governor Beaten in Street

In 2008, David Paterson became New York’s Historic First Black Governor. Let’s see what he’s up to nowadays, as the erstwhile Empire State decays into ruin due to moonbattery:

Paterson and his stepson were attacked by a trio of young suspects while walking their dog on the Upper East Side Friday night, his spokesperson and law enforcement sources said.

Paterson, 70, and his wife’s 20-year-old son, Anthony Chester Sliwa, encountered the group of young men, possibly teens, climbing a fire escape on Second Avenue near East 96th Street shortly before 9 p.m., the sources said.

David Paterson is legally blind — not that this would matter to the scum that now owns the streets of New York.

Liberals can rejoice that the allegedly systemically racist police have been marginalized into irrelevance under New York’s system of anarchotyranny.

Paterson suffered a head injury and his stepson a facial wound. Anthony Sliwa is the son of Curtis Sliwa of the Guardian Angels.

This milestone in NYC’s decline was captured on video:
