France: Car Ads Compelled to Propagandize Against Cars

Did you think it’s annoying that Big Government forces drug companies to take up half their ads reciting rare side effects that could conceivably result from using their products? France tops it by forcing car ads to encourage you not to drive cars:

A new law in France will force car companies to place messages in their ads that encourage people to consider greener methods of transportation. …

These messages include “For short trips, choose to walk or cycle,” “Think about carpooling,” and “Take public transit daily.”

Barbara Pompili, France’s Minister for Ecological Transition, is all about “decarbonizing transportation.”

Transportation will be decarbonized when it no longer exists. Earth will be decarbonized when there is no longer any life on it.

The new regulations … will apply to ads on TV, in movie theatres, on billboards, in print, online and over radio.

Since moonbattery is a totalitarian ideology, there is to be no escape anywhere. Everything must be coercive, and everything must be preachy and pious in support of leftists’ godless religion.
