Having Attended Trump Rally, Alaska Couple Raided by FBI
If you happened to be in Washington, DC on January 6, don’t be surprised it you get a visit from the FBI — the guns-drawn kind. From Homer, Alaska:
Paul and Marilyn Hueper, owners of Homer Inn & Spa, woke with a start at 9 a.m. April 28 when a dozen armed FBI agents kicked down their front door in an investigation associated with Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s stolen laptop, which was taken during the Jan. 6 siege of the nation’s Capitol.
Traditionally, raids of this sort occur around 3 a.m., so that the subjects will be disoriented from sleep. Very lazy of the FBI not to get started until 9.

The Huepers were in D.C. for the rally with President Trump, but they never came close to entering the Capitol, and certainly never took Pelosi’s laptop.
The feds had a picture of someone at the Capitol Riot with the same coat and hairstyle as Marilyn, thus the raid. A comparison of the picture with one of Marilyn would have revealed that they are not the same person.
Paul said he repeatedly asked to see a search warrant but was denied until two and a half hours had gone by. During that time, he was separated from his wife.
He reports that the interrogation “was very harshly done.”
Paul said the agents ransacked the house and left a huge hole in his front door, which they offered to replace.
That was nice of them. That way, the Huepers get some of their tax money back.
It was more than an hour into the raid before they were even told that it had to do with the Capitol Riot, in which the Huepers did not participate.
At no point was the couple read their Miranda rights or charged with any crime, and the agents left after three hours without offering an apology. They also took Marilyn’s phones and laptop, she said.

This isn’t the first time the FBI accused a woman of stealing Nancy Pelosi’s laptop.
Other laptops are of less interest to the FBI. Hunter Biden’s laptop reportedly contains evidence regarding Joe Biden’s pay for play schemes involving our communist Chinese adversaries. Trump attorney (and erstwhile America’s Mayor) Rudy Giuliani had copies of it when the FBI raided his home and confiscated his devises, apparently as part of a campaign to terrorize Trump associates. Giuliani recommended they take the copies, to comply with their warrant. They refused.
