As reported back in May, Biden staffers have put their money where their mouths are by bailing lawbreakers out of jail in riot-ripped Minneapolis:

At least 13 members of Joe Biden’s campaign staff have made donations to a group that helps Minneapolis protesters get out of jail on bail, according to a report.

The staffers posted on Twitter that they contributed money to a group called the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which opposes the practice of making people who are arrested pay money to avoid pre-trial imprisonment…

Let’s see what they have gotten for their money:

A violent daytime assault … has left a well-liked Minneapolis bar manager with a traumatic brain injury and a long road to recovery. The alleged perpetrator is a violent offender who was charged just a month ago in another violent assault and was provided bail by the Minnesota Freedom Fund just days prior…

The unnamed victim was attacked in a robbery attempt when he stepped out the back door of Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar on August 14.

Charges filed this week in Hennepin County against the suspect, Lionel Melaki Timms, 32, say that he repeatedly hit and kicked the victim in the head during the attack and left him lying in the alley unable to defend himself.

Kicks to the head are in vogue these days.

Responding officers located the victim face down in the middle of the alley with blood coming from his ear and the left side of his head. … [Afterward, he was] treated for a traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull and a brain bleed.

Here’s how Biden’s staff lent an assist with their donations:

[I]t was reported by Fox 9 that MFF, a non-profit that collected $35 million in donations on the premise of providing bail for protesters arrested during the George Floyd demonstrations, has been using the money to bail out violent offenders in Minnesota.

The Fox 9 report listed those bailed out as an accused murderer, a sex offender with two new cases involving sexual assault and kidnapping, and another person who is charged with attempted murder for firing at officers during the riots that followed Floyd’s death. …

In case anyone thought this was all about enabling “mostly peaceful” protest,

MFF’s interim executive director, Greg Lewin, told Fox 9, “I often don’t even look at a charge when I bail someone out.” Lewin said that only about a dozen protesters actually needed bail money provided from MFF.

Timms jumped bail, which was predictable considering his record of violent crime. A warrant was issued for his arrest 3 days before the assault on the bar manager.

The Black Lives Matter religion features as its primary deity another violent career criminal. A central purpose is to abolish the police and prisons.

For reasons that only a psychopathologist could explain, many people derive a gratifying sense of self-righteousness from advocating Black Lives Matter — i.e., from advocating crime.
