Islamic Law Upheld in Austria

No need to wait for Muslims to achieve majority status in a generation or two. Europeans can live under Islamic law right now:

[T]he Vienna Regional Court has ruled that an arbitration award under Sharia law is also valid in Austria. …

Two men in Vienna had agreed to settle their contractual disputes according to Islamic law – specifically ‘Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaah’. The private arbitration court ruled against one of the men, who was then ordered to pay 320,000 euros. He fought back, arguing that Sharia law is ambiguous, open to arbitrary interpretation and contradicts Austria’s fundamental values.

Like most of Europe, Austria has abandoned its fundamental values in favor of multiculturalism and moral relativism. It lies prostrate waiting for others to impose their values upon it.

The court thus made it clear that Islamic legal provisions can be effectively agreed upon in Austria for property disputes – regardless of whether their content complies with applicable law.

Islamic legal provisions calling for the killing of apostates and blasphemers will be along shortly.
