The Hyde Amendment makes it illegal to spend federal tax dollars to execute inconvenient unborn babies. The Big Beautiful Spending Bonanza honors this by suspending federal payouts to the highly profitable abortion mill Planned Parenthood — if only for a single year. But then District Judge Indira Talwani stepped in:

A federal judge on Monday granted Planned Parenthood’s request to temporarily halt Medicaid funding cuts to the group’s health centers under a provision of Republicans’ new tax and spending package. …

Indira Talwani’s ruling … came just hours after Planned Parenthood sued over a provision that imposes a one-year ban on state Medicaid payments to health care nonprofits that also offer abortions and received more than $800,000 in federal funding in 2023.

The Founding Fathers planned for Congress to control the purse strings. But they have been overruled by Indira Talwani on behalf of the abortion industry.

The Supreme Court just issued a ruling on judicial overreach. Looks like it will need to issue another.

Talwani is an appointee of former President Obama.

It had to be either Obama or Biden. The damage they have wreaked by seeding the judiciary with ultraleft apparatchiks will last a generation.

Imagine if these people take over the Supreme Court, which Democrats have expressed a willingness to pack. The legislative and executive branches will be just for show; the arbitrary decrees of unelected judges will be the law of the land.
