Among the things we all used to agree on are that comic books are for children and sexual perversion is not for children. It would follow that sexual perversion would not be promoted at an event for fans of comic books. But times have changed — at least for now:
Queer nerds, listen up! New York Comic Con is hitting the Javits Center again in 2025 from Thursday, October 9, to Sunday, October 12, for four days of nerdy chaos.
In recent years, New York Comic Con has made significant strides in offering programming and safe spaces for the queer community. Not only has the show spotlighted queer creators, projects, and panels, but NYCC also hosts a Pride Lounge.
Bring your kids and meet wholesome people like this.
If the kiddy shows on Netflix have been LGBTified, why not comic book conventions?
