Making Washington State Into a Housing Project

When moonbats bark that “Housing is a human right,” they mean it is to be provided at other people’s expense on a coercive basis. This is turn means reducing the entire country to a government housing project.

Washington State leads the way. Via KIRO:

House Bill 2266 requires cities across Washington to allow permanent supportive housing in any residential zone. Your neighborhood. The street where your kids ride bikes. Cities cannot zone it out. They cannot add a single operating condition stricter than what applies to a regular apartment. …

Permanent supportive housing is subsidized housing with no time limits, no treatment requirements, and no recovery expectations.

That is, the drug use that renders many people homeless is allowed.

The neighbors already know what comes next. Trespassing. Car prowls. Screaming in the streets. People trying front doors at night.

We have seen the future of America under liberal rule. It is called Cabrini-Green, a realm so nightmarish, they made a horror movie about it.
