Mass Dismissal of Criminal Cases in San Francisco

San Francisco, the mecca of the moonbat religion, is a great place to be a criminal:

Victims say they are devastated after San Francisco Superior Court shockingly dismissed over 70 cases against accused domestic abusers, sex offenders and drunk drivers.

The cases were dropped due to a large backlog, for which Covid is providing an excuse. Other causes of the backlog include the dysfunction and explosive criminality that characterize liberal rule.

While the District Attorney’s office denies blame over the situation, it comes after a turbulent few years for the department that saw former DA Chesa Boudin ousted from office after murders soared 11 percent and the city was gripped by daylight robberies.

Boudin is the offspring of Weather Underground terrorists. With his parents behind bars for murder, he was raised by their fellow Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn — the same ones who hosted in their home a fundraiser and kickoff event for Barack Obama’s first political campaign. Like many openly pro-criminal DAs, Boudin was installed in office by top Democrat financier George Soros. Predictably, this helped cause an explosion in crime that is often not punished.
