Siccing pit bulls on cats and beating up teenagers in the subway are not the worst manifestations of the situation the liberal establishment has created by facilitating black lawlessness. In the Chocolate City, a 73-year-old grandmother had her arm torn off:

Linda Frickey was carjacked by four teens about 1:30 p.m. Monday as she was leaving a business in New Orleans’ Mid-City neighborhood, WWL-TV reported.

Before long, “teens” will be declared a racial slur, and we will have to come up with a new euphemism.

The murder occurred in broad daylight in the middle of town. We are past the point where teens would care about witnesses.

They attacked Linda Frickey while screaming, “You’re about to die!” Caught in the seatbelt, she was dragged almost an entire block as they stole her car. Her clothes were torn off, and her arm was completely severed from her body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teens drove the car 13 blocks before abandoning it for some other amusement.

Said witness Leanne Mascar,

“She was laying there naked, and I thought the indignity she just suffered, it was already too much.”

It may be too much, but we will get even more as progressives continue to hamstring local police and apply the concept of racial equity to incarceration.

Looks like the teens are underage, so they will get a wrist slap at most from the liberals in charge. The savages bred by the welfare state know they will not face appropriate punishment, or they might behave differently.

Just ask the survivors of Uber Eats driver Mohammad Anwar, who was killed during a carjacking by teens in DC. Probably due to public scrutiny, the killers did not get probation. Both the 15-year-old and the 13-year-old (at the time of the murder) received the maximum sentence; they will be held in juvenile detention until they turn 21, at which point they we be unleashed on the public.

What you tolerate, you get more of.

Imagine if Linda Frickey’s story got the coverage of George Floyd’s mischaracterized fentanyl overdose. Maybe there would finally be some pushback. But the media is as complicit in this as the rest of the liberal establishment. The best coverage appears to be by VDare:

Too bad the federal government’s ingenious new idea of making lynching illegal didn’t work.
