Ominous Language From Keith Olbermann

In the wake of their assassination of Charlie Kirk, liberals find that violent threats work. These may have been responsible for nixing the Charlie Kirk tribute that was supposed to replace Jimmy Kimmel’s loathsome show last Friday. A kook firing shots into the Sacramento ABC affiliate may have helped Kimmel’s immediate return to the air. So no one should be surprised to hear threats from moonbattery incarnate, Keith Olbermann:

Liberal political commentator Keith Olbermann deleted a social media post Monday in which he appeared to threaten conservative CNN analyst Scott Jennings.

“You’re next motherf–ker,” read Olbermann’s deleted X post, according to a screenshot shared by Townhall columnist Dustin Grage.

Given current events and the topic at hand, that could be taken to mean, “next after Charlie Kirk,” although Olbermann might have meant, “next after Jimmy Kimmel” — who supposedly had his career destroyed but who had already been reinstated by likeminded Disney/ABC:

Olbermann appears to have been responding to a tweet from Jennings reacting to ABC reinstating late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, after he was pulled off the air for offensive comments related to conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Snarled Olbermann:

“Now we get the fascists off real tv. That’d mean your career is next, Jennings.”

Calling opponents of the Left “fascists” echoes rhetoric that would have inspired Tyler Robinson to inscribe antifascist messages on his bullet casings.

As noted at Modernity,

Olbermann’s threat, deleted in a panic after screenshots spread, isn’t an outlier; it’s the logical endpoint of rhetoric that dehumanizes conservatives as “fascists” worthy of removal.

The alarming lack of contrition among liberals following Charlie Kirk’s assassination promises more violence.
