TDS Drives Canada Off the Rails
Canada makes a convenient foil, given its proclivity to moonbattery, especially under recent leadership. Unfortunately, Trump’s trolling of our northern neighbor has cost us an ally:
Trump personally played an enormous role in returning an incompetent and ideologically bankrupt Liberal Party to power, after a campaign where Prime Minister Mark Carney made himself the anti-Trump…
Canada is even more moonbatty than elections reflect, because the Left is divided among multiple parties. Not this time though. Overreaction to Trump’s 51st state ribbing rallied it behind the odious Carney.
Justin Trudeau left such a foul taste in the mouth that even in Canada the countermoonbat candidate Pierre Poilievre was way out in front until recently.
Despite Conservatives’ gaining far more seats than Liberals and recording their best popular vote share in a generation, he lost his seat by just 3,000 votes in a race with over 90 candidates on the ballot. His platform of law and order, free markets, tighter control of immigration, and pushing back on the left’s social excesses was the exact medicine that Canada needed.
But Canadians decided they would rather stick it to Trump than save their own country from encroaching ruin.
With shame, it must be admitted that my fellow Boomers are largely to blame:

Boomers may figure they won’t live to see the Third World future liberals are imposing on Canada. But given the galloping rate of decay, many will have to sleep in the bed they have made by throwing this tantrum.
