Culture is not in the physical location. It is in the people. When a city’s people are displaced, the city ceases to exist. A new city replaces it. This one will resemble Aleppo.

The leftist response to this truly existential crisis is to call for birthright citizenship, snuffing out any hope that Vienna can be saved.

If a nuclear bomb were used to eradicate Vienna, it would not be more thorough. The only difference is that a nuclear strike would not metastasize to wipe out the whole country.
