Finally, we have someone in charge who will take decisive action to arrest the decay. Trump has placed law enforcement in the District of Columbia under federal control.

Under liberal rule, as Trump observes,

“Our capital city has been overtaken by violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged out maniacs, and homeless people.”

In the short term, that is the Democrat plan for America, as their policies attest. In the immediate term, the situation in DC is urgent:

The Home Rule Act of 1973 allows the president to assume temporary control over the city’s police department in an emergency. The president said he signed an executive order Monday morning declaring an emergency in the nation’s capital.

He is also deploying the National Guard. The beating of Big Balls by “teens” as he protected his girlfriend may have been the final straw.

Mayor Muriel Bowser has been explicit in her support for criminals. To make her position clear, she even commissioned a Black Lives Matter mural in bright yellow 35-foot letters on 16th Street leading to the White House. A city that would elect her is not fit to govern itself. Kudos to Trump for taking action before the same can be said for the country as a whole.

Mind your ears as liberals screech at the top of their lungs that Trump is a fascist for reestablishing law, order, and public safety.
