Thanks in part to the nationalization of student loans supposedly to help pay for ObamaCare, the cost of education has been skyrocketing:

For full-time undergraduate students in the school year 2019-2020, tuition hikes across all sectors were consistent. Published tuition and fees for public two-year in-district, public four-year in-state, and private nonprofit four-year colleges increased by at least 20% in the past 10 years, according to college tuition inflation data from the Manhattan Institute. The costs only get steeper compared to 20 years ago. Published tuition and fees for public two-year in-district colleges grew by 47% when adjusted for inflation. Meanwhile, those for public four-year in-state rose by 102% while private nonprofit four-year colleges grew by 54%…

On the positive side, if Biden has his way, students can just take out loans and then have them forgiven, so that the rest of us pick up the outrageous cost through taxes and inflation. Another positive side is that students get extras that they never did before — like the opportunity to win sex toys playing bingo at the University of Vermont:

An investigation by Young America’s Foundation (YAF) revealed that student tuition dollars were used to pay for the event.

YAF also found that the board is comprised of “nearly 40 undergraduate students who are paid a stipend for their service.” …

[A] copy of the previous year’s bingo cards … included phrases such as “[F**k] me,” “Blow job,” “Jack off,” “Cum shot,” and “Spank me.”

College is not primarily about education. Much of what is learned there is not relevant or even true. Mostly, it is about induction into the liberal ruling class, which entails cultural indoctrination.
