One reason moonbattery flourishes on college campuses is that even the most outrageous behavior by leftist activists is facilitated by educrats. This alliance is out in the open at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where an administrator has warned conservatives not to identify woke hooligans who disrupted an event.
Via Fox News:
The controversy stems from an April 21 event featuring Department of Homeland Security (DHS) general counsel James Percival. More than 150 protesters swarmed the talk, booing, shouting profanities and, according to Percival, making death threats.
In April 22 emails obtained by Fox News Digital, Bayrex Martí, UCLA’s assistant dean for student affairs, warned Federalist Society President Matthew Weinberg against identifying the disruptors. …
Martí warned that if the names were shared and those protesters subsequently faced online criticism or harassment, the Federalist Society itself would be held responsible for “reasonably predictable” consequences.
Predictable consequences do not include punishment for the woke bullies who tried to silence Percival. But Martí snarls ominously that if the Federalist Society unmasks the maniacs, it could be “subjected to campus processes.”
Meanwhile, the moonbats running California want to forbid ICE agents from protecting their identities — even though they are engaged in lawful activity and really are subject to danger. Never mind mean tweets; there has been a 1,000% increase in assaults on ICE officers, leftists target their families, and Mexican criminal cartels put bounties on them.
