They call themselves “progressives” because until recently they imposed their agenda gradually, knowing that the frog will jump out of the pot if you bring the water to a boil too quickly. What is less obvious is why they call their highest value “tolerance,” when they are so rigidly intolerant of those who fail to embrace their ideology with sufficient alacrity. To understand, it helps to put the word “tolerance” in the context of drug addiction.

It is through progressivism and tolerance that they have been able to use Hollywood to desecrate, debase, and destroy American culture.
