Voting is not a right but a privilege. It should not be exercised by those who lack the cognitive capacity to make decisions that affect others. Allowing people whose IQs qualify them as intellectually disabled to choose representatives has left us with lawmakers ignorant of even the most basic and topically relevant laws — like Jasmine Crockett (D-TX):
