Tuesday was Waterloo for the radicalized Democrat Party. It lost both the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General races in Virginia, saw its antipolice moonbattery shot down in Minneapolis itself, and reeled as trucker Edward Durr (who spent only $153 on his campaign) took out President of the New Jersey Senate Steve Sweeney (who spent $20 million). The logical response would have been to react like Bill Clinton after the 1994 midterms: stop trying to ram extremism down everyone’s throat and instead reach out to moderates. But today’s Democrats are beyond that. Their reaction has been threefold:

1. Attempt to seize unconstitutional federal control of elections to institutionalize fraud so this can’t happen again.

2. Chastise leftists like McAuliffe (whose final pitch was to call for fewer white teachers) as not radical enough.

3. Denounce voters as racists.

Given that calling the resistance racist is always the liberal establishment media’s fallback position, #3 has been getting the most emphasis:

MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who makes a living by cashing in on her hatred of Caucasians, has been particularly vociferous in claiming that the election was all about white racists. Jamaica-born former Marine Winsome Sears, Virginia’s next Lieutenant Governor, disagrees. Her win gives the lie to the liberal narrative.

As for Joy Reid,

Speaking with Fox News’s Martha MacCallum on Wednesday, Sears responded by daring Reid to raise that argument with her face-to-face.

“I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show. Let’s see if she is woman enough to do that. I would go in a heartbeat, and we will have a real discussion without Joy speaking about me behind my back,” Sears blasted.

The odds of Joy Reid letting Winsome Sears on her show are slim. As Dirty Harry might say, “A dim-witted, race-hustling moonbat propagandist has got to know her limitations.”

The Attorney General race in Virginia went to Republican Jason Miyares. Apparently Hispanics are white supremacists too, just like Winsome Sears.

Let’s hope that Kamala Harris was right for once when she croaked recently that “What happens in Virginia will in large part determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on.”
