People who acknowledge that there is such a thing as a woman had a good laugh when Future of the Democratic Party Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recoiled from the word in favor of the more politically correct terms “people who do give birth,” and “any menstruating person.” Characteristically, instead of admitting that she has yet again made a fool of herself, AOC belligerently doubles down:

According to the moonbat religion, women who say they are not women but rather “trans men,” “non-binary people,” “two-spirit,” et cetera are not women. Yet they might still be able to give birth. Therefore, logic dictates that you don’t have to be a woman to give birth — or to abort your baby, as AOC would prefer.

It is tempting to laugh even harder, but she has the Experts on her side:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for example, provided an update for coronavirus vaccinations for pregnant women on August 11, although the federal health agency repeatedly used the phrase “pregnant people,” despite the fact that there are only two biological sexes and only females can become pregnant with a child.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has also used the phrase.

The political hacks running the CDC know more about liberal doctrine than they do about basic biology. However, they speak with authority — the authority of the federal government.

The Biden administration, too, has welcomed the broad terms, replacing the word “mothers” with “birthing people” in a budget proposal over the summer.

Like Indians, women face erasure in the name of political correctness.
