Media Shocked as New York Rejects Lefty Voting Initiatives

Not even in deep blue New York do voters want elections reduced to farces by Democrats institutionalizing voter fraud. The Guardian doesn’t know what to make of it:

Amid an array of discouraging election results for Democrats last week, there was one under-the-radar outcome that was especially perplexing. In New York, one of the country’s most progressive states, voters overwhelmingly rejected initiatives that would have expanded voting access in future elections.

This reportedly “left voting rights advocates stunned.”

One of the proposals would have paved the way for lawmakers to get rid of a longstanding states policy that requires voters to give an excuse if they want to vote by mail (34 states and the District of Columbia allow anyone to vote by mail for any reason). Another would have allowed people to register to vote on election day, a reform advocates believe significantly increases political participation.

None of the measures came anywhere close to passing.

Despite being lied to relentlessly by the leftist-controlled media, the public is not completely clueless. People know that measures ostensibly intended to increase political participation actually increase election fraud. They also know that phony votes reduce the value of their own votes.

If Democrats are able to ram through one of their attempts to seize control of elections at the federal level, there will be a political price to pay. But then, the whole point of advancing “voting rights” is to make public support superfluous.

Deep down, maybe even most liberals believe in free and fair elections. If so, they had better push back against the radical authoritarians who control the Democratic Party before it is too late.
