According to Democrat talking points, Florida is unsafe, because with Ron DeSantis as governor it has focused on protecting the vulnerable from Covid rather than indiscriminately crushing everyone with pointless repression like they do in liberal strongholds like New York. Speaking of New York, NRO reports on how a leftist congresscritter from NYC spends her vacation time:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was spotted dining in Miami Beach, Fla., on Thursday, according to a tip received by National Review, on the same day that her native New York City reported a record number of Covid-19 cases.
Don’t be too hard on AOC. Others have headed for happier climes as trouble struck at home. Even Ted Cruz has done it:

The congresswoman was still harping on the trip two months later, tweeting during a feud with the senator in April: “Ted, this is pretty rich coming from someone who fled their own home (and responsibilities) during an environmental crisis to cross the border and seek refuge in Mexico.”
Democrats take flagrant hypocrisy to an art form. When called out on it, they lash out, making even greater fools of themselves:

AOC’s claim that her opponents find her attractive only made them laugh louder. She managed to make the guffaws stop by going after Ron DeSantis:

Not so funny. As Hot Air notes,
DeSantis was not on vacation. In fact, he was still posting a schedule of regular events. But he was indeed “missing” during the period AOC was referring to. And the reason was that he was accompanying his wife to the hospital for cancer treatments.
The Chairman of the Democratic National Committee calls this clueless commie the Future of the Party. Either the Democrats are in trouble, or the whole country is.
