Former Fox News correspondent Carl Cameron (né Karl Emil Othmar Lamberg-Karlovsky), founder of the far left news aggregator Front Page Live, has been raising his status in the liberal media lately by calling for Americans to be imprisoned for deviating from Democrat Party ideology.

Last Tuesday, he took to MSNBC to cry,

“[W]e got to watch out because the Republicans have become the purveyors of misinformation, and when our two-party system is broken like that, democracy is seriously in trouble. The president acknowledged that it’s time to actually start doing things and maybe taking some names and putting people in jail.”

When moonbats overstep into alarming radicalism, they rarely step back. Instead, they double down:

A former correspondent with Fox News suggested on Saturday that law enforcement agencies will have to take action against Fox News and Tucker Carlson to “stop the lying.”

Carl Cameron, Fox’s former chief political correspondent, told CNN’s Jim Acosta that Carlson in particular has been “screaming fire in a crowded movie house for years.”

Cameron literally wants journalists thrown in prison for publicly disagreeing with his dysfunctional ideology. MSNBC and CNN do not hesitate to provide him a platform as he makes this demand.

Freedom is for those strong enough to shoulder responsibility for their own lives. Tyranny is for the weak, who need Big Government to protect and make decisions for them. That’s why authoritarianism appeals to frail, pathetic rodents like Carl Cameron. It’s why police states tend to be run by Merrick Garland types.

The museum then suddenly told us that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would not be allowed to speak because he “didn’t align with the museum’s values” and would undermine its mission of teaching tolerance.

If only those who teach “tolerance” were as tolerant as they are hypocritical.

I’ve been a supporter of New York’s Museum of Jewish Heritage for years. … The charge of maintaining the memory of the six-million murdered Jews is a sacred trust. … But I am appalled to read that the museum had gotten involved in petty politics, canceling people and straying from its important mission.

Please, spare us the histrionics. Many of Florida’s Jews, especially those of us who are progressive, will understand and support the Museum of Jewish Heritage’s decision to block the visit of Mr. DeSantis. His recent legislation threatens gender nonconforming youth and seeks to ban the books that depict them.

Regarding the sort of books that liberals screech histrionically are being banned from school libraries for depicting sexually depraved children, here’s what happens when you try to read from one at a schoolboard meeting:

The Holocaust was certainly horrific, but cannot compare to the genocide committed by communists, which dwarfs it in terms of the number of victims. This is welcome:

DeSantis announced Monday that he is signing legislation designating Nov. 7 as Victims of Communism Day in his state. …

“Honoring the people that have fallen victim to communist regimes and teaching our students about those atrocities is the best way to ensure that history does not repeat itself,” DeSantis said in a statement.

No one is likely to complain that DeSantis does not align with the values of those who oppose communism.

Vandals reportedly used a Molotov cocktail to attack the headquarters of an anti-abortion organization in Wisconsin this weekend. The criminals also spray-painted a threat to the pro-life group that read, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

The concept of safe abortions is as surreal as their notion that women can father children. Nothing is too patently insane to be shrieked by a moonbat.

The pro-life Wisconsin Family Action organization has a mission “to advance Judeo-Christian principles and values in Wisconsin by strengthening, preserving, and promoting marriage, family, life, and liberty.” The group is staunchly anti-abortion and “pro-family.”

Late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, the Wisconsin Family Action headquarters in Madison was vandalized and allegedly set on fire.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes confirms that the fire was arson.

Behold the handiwork of the people we are told hold the moral high ground because they are so tolerant:

The anarchy symbol and “1312” (numeric code for “ACAB” or “All Cops Are Bastards”) indicate that Antifa brownshirts are responsible.

Meanwhile, CNN fritters away any remaining shreds of credibility by gibbering absurdly about the threat of violence from “far-right groups.”

To the surprise of no one, the same Democrat Party that has been encouraging this sort of behavior is slow to condemn it:

Fox News Digital reached out to the offices of several Wisconsin Democratic lawmakers – Reps. Ron Kind, Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan – asking if they had any thoughts on the attack and if they believed the alleged arson to be an acceptable form of protest to a likely court ruling.

None of the offices responded to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment, and none of the three representatives had put out a statement condemning the apparent arson by press time.

Meanwhile, Justice Samuel Alito and his family have been moved to an undisclosed location, just like Dick Cheney after 9/11 and for the same reason: he is a likely target for terrorists.

Leftist mobs have already laid siege to the homes of Justices Roberts and Kavanaugh. As Karen Townsend notes,

It is illegal to protest at homes in both Maryland and Virginia where the conservative justices reside. No arrests, though, so we’ll see how well the laws are enforced. Imagine being one of Kavanaugh’s young daughters who looks outside and sees the protests going on. Imagine if a pro-life group did such protests in front of liberal justices’ homes. There would be January 6-style hearings being scheduled.

Why isn’t Joe Biden speaking out against these protests? Why isn’t he giving one of his Grandpa Joe speeches and trying to calm things down? He hasn’t said a word to discourage them.

On the contrary, his press secretary pointedly refuses to condemn pro-abortion intimidation tactics.

That’s the kind of country we live in already, and progressives are not done progressing — unless of course Americans rise up and stop them.

The owner has had to remain anonymous to avoid cancelation and worse from self-righteously tolerant liberals.

Expect the Twitter thought police to shut down the Libs of TikTok account again soon. In the meantime, it has more followers than ever.

You can see why the liberal establishment is horrified at the idea of Elon Musk taking over Twitter and sidelining the censors. Accounts like this must be kept under the thumb to maintain an unchallenged narrative. That Libs of TikTok hasn’t already been permanently banned is an encouraging indication that Twitter fears backlash, probably because Musk has drawn attention to its ham-fisted censorship.

In March 2021, Del Rosario advocated … against the “Bathroom Bill” that required individuals to use the gendered bathroom that aligned with the sex recorded on their birth certificate, saying that “policies like these have consequential impacts on the health of transgender people.” Del Rosario spoke of plans to make a medical career out of treating the transgender community.

Del Rosario also spoke about being a leader in a “safe zone” in a paper advocating for more affirming transgender policy at the state level for The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and touted her concern about making sure transgender patients are treated well.

Considering the fawning treatment transsexuals receive, “treated well” in this context can be interpreted to mean “treated with particularly abject servility.”

Presumably K. Del is not a mental defective, or she wouldn’t be in medical school (although thanks to Affirmative Action, this is no longer certain). Yet as Not the Bee notes, she does not seem to understand the difference between men and women or know about the Hippocratic Oath. She considers it appropriate to publicly mock her patients.

A century ago, we could see the effect of moonbattery on art, when instead of great paintings the public began to be presented with random smears of paint. Since then, moonbattery has had a similar effect on every aspect of society, including medicine.

The other suits at Levi’s leaned on her to shut up about Covid.

Meantime, colleagues posted nonstop about the need to oust Trump in the November election. I also shared my support for Elizabeth Warren in the Democratic primary and my great sadness about the racially instigated murders of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. No one at the company objected to any of that.

But Sey also wanted to talk about the senseless damage inflicted on children in the name of Covid hysteria. When she went on Laura Ingraham to talk about it, her fellow Levi’s employees came after her for being “anti-science” at the company’s struggle sessions, which they call “town halls.” After drawing attention to the strong correlation between Covid mortality and obesity, she was also denounced as “anti-fat.”

The Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion told her to do an “apology tour.” She refused.

Denouncing her as a racist — the ultimate thought crime — meant her heresy would not be tolerated.

The fact that I had been asked, back in 2017, to be the executive sponsor of the Black Employee Resource Group by two black employees did not matter.

Why would it matter? If you do not conform to doctrinaire leftism in all matters, you are a thought criminal. Doctrinaire leftism requires you to regard as gospel truth whatever Dr Fauci claims is “The Science” at any given moment. Thought criminals must be canceled, because they are racists.

In the fall of 2021, during a dinner with the CEO, I was told that I was on track to become the next CEO of Levi’s—the stock price had doubled under my leadership, and revenue had returned to pre-pandemic levels. The only thing standing in my way, he said, was me. All I had to do was stop talking about the school thing.

Too late. The Twitter mob caught the scent of a dissident and demanded her head.

In the last month, the CEO told me that it was “untenable” for me to stay. I was offered a $1 million severance package, but I knew I’d have to sign a nondisclosure agreement about why I’d been pushed out.

Sey turned down the money so she could tell her story. If it is worth $1 million to tell, it’s worth taking a few minutes to read the whole thing. It’s fitting that it would appear on the Substack page of Bari Weiss, formerly of the New York Times, another liberal who was bullied out for ideological impurity by the woke Taliban.

A victim has caught the attention of the woke lynch mob: Ilya Shapiro, Executive Director of the Center for the Constitution at Georgetown University Law Center.

Shapiro tweeted that Sri Srinivasan would be an ideal candidate for the Supreme Court, but isn’t qualified according to Joe Biden on grounds of race and gender, so we will get a “lesser black woman.” This was deliberately misinterpreted as meaning that the Biden candidate will be lesser because she will be black, although it is obvious that Shapiro meant that she will be lesser because there do not happen to be any black female candidates in Srinivasan’s league. Nonetheless, he deleted his tweet and foolishly apologized, setting himself up for immolation.

Georgetown educrats placed him on administrative leave pending an investigation into his thought crime. Georgetown Law Dean William Treanor barked that Shapiro’s remark was “appalling.” Other professors piled on, inflaming woke students.

Actual racists were quick to capitalize. Nate Hochman reports:

The Georgetown Black Law Students Association (BLSA) released a statement calling for Shapiro’s termination on top of demands such as “requiring inclusion of Black students in the hiring for all faculty and staff,” which was subsequently boosted on social media by multiple Georgetown Law professors. The BLSA statement has since been signed by 951 individuals and 39 additional student organizations, including the Georgetown Law chapter of the ACLU, the Georgetown Law Journal, and numerous other racial-affinity groups.

Students held a sit-in on Tuesday, demanding Shapiro be fired. Treanor attended. As we have come to expect of educrats, he was obsequiously sympathetic to the lynch mob he helped create.

Student activists floated the idea of defunding the Center for the Constitution if Shapiro was allowed to stay and demanded everything from reparations to free food to a place for students to cry. (“Is there an office they can go to?” one student asked. “I don’t know what it would look like, but if they want to cry, if they need to break down, where can they go?”)

This is what people are reduced to when they use imaginary victimhood as a cudgel. Self-respect would only be a hindrance to them.

A handful of students at this elite school are bright enough to understand that Shapiro was only asking that people be judged on their merits, rather than by their skin color, per Martin Luther King. The other students turned on them.

“I wouldn’t read into Prof Shapiro’s tweet much beyond his opposition to affirmative action and related diversity policies when they modify merits-based approaches,” one user wrote. “Wholly unacceptable comment, check yourself,” the group-chat moderator quickly responded.

Dissenting students were kicked out of the chat for not agreeing with the mob.

[Rafael] Nuñez was kicked out of the group chat after defending himself against the accusation that he was “privileged” for defending students who spoke out. “That’s what really got to me,” he said. “Like, my mom was undocumented for 35 years. I grew up on food stamps and welfare and had to dig myself out a hole to get to go to Georgetown Law. My life has been difficult, but I don’t complain. And it just bothered me that these kids that didn’t even know me — you know, a fellow person of color — were telling me that I’m privileged. Like, you don’t know the things that I had to see growing up and what I had to do and struggle to get here.”

Nuñez describes himself as tending “to lean a little more liberal.” Let’s hope this experience will help him outgrow that.

When asked about complaining to the administration, he responded,

“They’re not going to be on my side. Like this is just gonna make more enemies for me, honestly. I’m going to keep my mouth shut. I’m on a scholarship. I don’t want to get kicked out, you know?”

That is the point of the Shapiro spectacle: to let it be known that if you say anything radical leftists don’t like, a school of sharks will tear you to pieces.

The strategy for controlling speech is simple but effective. First, they established that “racism” is so awful that anyone who says anything racist must be destroyed. Then, they defined racism as any speech they want silenced.

Liberals cannot win arguments on the merits because their ideology is moronic, juvenile, destructive, depraved, contemptible, and based on lies. But they can bully the herd into complying anyway by making examples of people like Ilya Shapiro, whose actual crime consists of being a new hire from the Cato Institute who has conservative views.

Meanwhile, leftists at Georgetown can say whatever they please. Professor Christine Fair proclaimed that those who supported moderate Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation deserved “miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps.”

As a ‘bonus,’ she said, ‘we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine.’

Georgetown took no action against Fair, because her views are compliant with the ideology that it is the primary mission of Georgetown and academia in general to promote.

In a promotional trailer for Rowling’s forthcoming film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which she co-wrote and co-produced, her name barely appears. This contrasts with how prominently her name was featured in previous advertisements for the franchise.

Rowling has endured a continued campaign of punishment and harassment ever since she (rightfully) ridiculed the term “people who menstruate” last year on social media. Her most recent transgression, according to activists, was criticizing the police in Scotland for classifying offenders based on their gender self-identification. This means that a male rapist who identifies as female will have his offense recorded as being committed by a woman.

This sick lunacy is likely to get women not only raped but killed. But objecting to it is regarded as thoughtcrime among our ruling class.

Some might argue Rowling’s wealth offers her a certain level of protection. I can tell you from my experience the harassment that accompanies this particular strain of activism is not something I would wish upon anyone.

Additionally, being labeled as “anti-trans” and a trans-exclusionary radical feminist (or “TERF”) by the media and being disavowed by some of the franchise’s cast members sends the message to everyone watching that challenging this ideology, no matter how compassionately or sensitively, is unacceptable.

If the author of the best-selling book series in history cannot state the incontrovertible fact that men are not women, then no one is safe to say anything that contradicts the most radical aspects of leftist doctrine. Liberals who are not evil and insane are keeping their heads down out of terror of their own mob. Exceptions like J.K. Rowling are so rare as to prove the rule.

Abolishing local police, as Democrats tried to do during the Black Lives Matter riots, has not worked out for them politically, because the public has not reacted favorably to the inevitably resulting explosion in violent crime. The Chicago Police Department is conducting an internal investigation into a sergeant who voiced her support for the formation of a Turning Point USA chapter at an area high school.

TPUSA is not exactly an alt right fever swamp. It represents a moderate conservative viewpoint that appeals to students.

Chicago Police Department Sergeant Ammie Kessem, who’s also the 41st Ward Republican Committeeman in Chicago, voiced her support for the potential creation of a TPUSA chapter at William Howard Taft High School in Chicago on Dec. 9, stating on Facebook that several “brave students” are creating the high school chapter of the conservative group.

The leftists in charge have proven just how brave these students are by targeting Officer Kessem.

Kessem went on to say that conservatives in Chicago are often called “Nazis,” “White Supremists” and “outright ‘racists.’”

Worse yet, they are intimidated with investigations and their careers are often ruined. How else is the liberal establishment to maintain its iron grip on a city where the ideology it wants to impose has so conspicuously failed?

“I am certain these students realize that this will almost certainly be scrutinized by the administration at this school which seems to embrace the Marxist views of a substantial amount of the Chicago Teacher’s union members,” she continued.

These Marxist views — or at least the authoritarian tactics associated with them — are also embraced by the Chicago PD under ultraleft Mayor Lori Lightfoot. The department did not inform Kessem of its investigation into her Facebook post, which she made in her capacity as a private American citizen who presumably enjoys First Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, at the school:

“We were disturbed to learn that an organization promoting racial intolerance has been associated with our school,” [Assistant Principal Melissa] Hess tweeted. “We are a community built on respect and inclusion, and one that rejects any organization that would seek to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or anything else. … Please know that the staff and administration at Taft will never tolerate the formation of any group that does not support these values.”

Although TPUSA was not named directly — and is not racist, Islamophobic, sexist, et cetera, ad nauseam — it appears to be the target of this ominous rhetoric. Tolerant liberals never tolerate those they have denounced as intolerant.

Kyle Rittenhouse has been found innocent in a court of law after defending himself from scumbag maniacs who were trying to kill him. But he will never be found innocent in the court of liberal opinion so long as he represents resistance to leftist rioters.

That’s why campus moonbats demanded he be forbidden from taking online courses at Arizona State. It’s why Heaven Hill doesn’t want people who are glad he wasn’t railroaded into prison to drink their Rittenhouse Rye. It’s why he has been canceled in the imaginary world of video games.

Electronic Arts sent him a warning for language that might “harm others or negatively disrupt the game.” That language consists of his own name used in an online handle.

Rittenhouse didn’t even use his name on EAs own online platform, but rather the company found that he used it on Steam, the world’s largest PC games distribution service which players use to buy and download games created by different developers. The name, EA’s email continued, is an “inappropriate reference” to “violence, terror, and tragic events.”

Because Rittenhouse defended himself from leftist brownshirts rather than let them kill him, his very name is synonymous with violence and terror. So he is forbidden from buying EA games under his own name.

The incident harkened back to a moment during the Rittenhouse trial, where the prosecution suggested he might have shot the three men (two of which were killed) because of his experience playing video games like “Call of Duty”.

“It’s just a video game,” Rittenhouse famously replied. “It’s not real life.”

However, real life people buy EA games. They are discouraged from doing so in the future.

The Arizona State University Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, Multicultural Solidarity Coalition, and MECHA de ASU are all calling on the Arizona State University administration to take action against Rittenhouse by withdrawing him from the university and releasing a statement against him.

If Joe Biden can call him a white supremacist on the basis of no evidence whatsoever, why shouldn’t campus activists call him a “violent blood-thirsty murderer”? It doesn’t matter that he killed rioting sociopaths not as a public service but to save his own life from them.

“A safe space from White Supremacy” means “no whites allowed,” as we already learned at ASU, when two white guys tried studying in a “multicultural space.”

Their demands also include at least partially defunding the campus police. They want the money to go to the multicultural center — that is, they want the money. If their demands are not met, they will feel “unsafe.” This claim is usually enough to get fellow-traveling educrats to comply eagerly.
