Uh oh. CNN just hired Kasie Hunt and already she is off the reservation. Check out her Twitter thread on the final day of the recall election that threatened to dethrone California’s personification of the liberal ruling class:

Of all the Democrat DAISNAID hypocrites, Newsom is among the most irritating, due to his skeevy cheesiness. Few will forget him dining indoors with lobbyists at the extravagantly expensive French Laundry while other restaurants were forced to close due to the same pointlessly tyrannical Covid restrictions that also shut down public schools while he sent his own to a ritzy private school.

Democrats need to prove they can govern for EVERYBODY, and if you look at California — it’s not necessarily the best test case for national Democrats (see: concern about homelessness, crime, etc) …

Only Biden himself could make it more obvious than Newsom that the Democrat Party serves Democrats alone and is viciously hostile to everyone else.

Republicans not named Trump did learn they had unrealized opportunities with working class voters (including Black and Latino voters) as they watched 2020 returns roll in …

Democrats will have to work hard to prevent Hispanics from assimilating, because once they do, many if not most will switch parties.

Obviously California is a Special Place — but the fact that a Democratic national star in waiting *faced* a recall and then had to fight hard for it midway through the campaign does say a lot about the potential challenges Democrats face across the map …

Only 8 months into his administration, Democrats would have to cheat on an industrial scale to get Biden through a recall election. Already, only mindlessly loyal Democrats approval of this disastrous presidency. As the full impact of this shuffling catastrophe filters through his mainstream media defenses, his support will continue to collapse.

…especially if President Biden can’t demonstrate he’s capable of getting the resurgent pandemic under control, has another competence crisis a la Afghanistan, can’t get his budget plan through Congress, etc.

If there is one thing we can count on with a corrupt, incompetent, senile leftist in the White House, it is more crises coming over the horizon.

Let’s hope most of them really are too arrogant to acknowledge their arrogance and rein it in before next year’s midterms.
