• GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND NEW CITIZENS SWEAR AN OATH TO HER.

• THE GOVERNOR GENERAL IS APPOINTED BY HER.

• THE ENTIRE ROYAL FAMILY UPHOLDS CANADIAN TRADITIONS AND CEREMONIES.

• SHE PLAYS A (SYMBOLIC) ROLE IN CANADA’S ARMED FORCES.

• HER SIGNATURE IS NECESSARY FOR CERTAIN GOVERNMENT APPROVALS.

• SHE CAN GRANT IMMUNITY FROM PROSECUTION.

Click through for details. The Queen’s role is mainly symbolic, but then, what could be more symbolic than tearing down a statue? By doing so, leftists are tearing down history, tradition, and their own country, just like the Black Lives Matter thugs who have torn down dozens upon dozens of statues in the USA.

Mobs of lowlife hooligans are not the only ones demolishing Canada and the rest of civilization in the name of woke ideology. Canada Day 2021: A time to reflect

The recent findings of unmarked graves of children found on or near the grounds of former Indian Residential Schools have sent shockwaves through Indigenous communities across the country. All of Canada is in mourning and stands with First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in this difficult time.

Systemic racism has also not spared racialized communities, which have been the targets of violence across the country in recent weeks.

On July 1st, let us take time to reflect on the violence that our institutions may have inflicted, the impact that this violence continues to have today on Indigenous peoples and racialized communities, and the journey that each of us must take toward reconciliation and living together.

A society devoted to self-hatred will not long survive and does not deserve to. But what replaces Canada will not be an improvement.

Progressives have a similar attitude toward the Fourth of July, which will soon be erased if they have their way. Its intended replacement, “Juneteenth,” has already been declared a federal holiday. Appropriate Juneteenth traditions are already taking root.
