At this point in the disgraceful, self-imposed decline of our country, some comic relief would be welcome. So it turns out John Kerry is good for something after all:

Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry, warned that Russia’s war against Ukraine could distract the world from the climate change crisis and produce “massive emissions” that will negatively impact the globe.

War is bad because soldiers may leave the engines running in their tanks, making it too warm outside for the sacred polar bears.

According to Kerry, the Russian invasion…

“…could have a profound negative impact on the climate obviously. You have a war and obviously you’re going to have massive emissions consequences to the war. But equally importantly, you’re going to lose people’s focus, you’re going to lose certainly big country attention because they will be diverted and I think it could have a damaging impact,” he continued. “So, you know, I think hopefully President Putin would realize that in the northern part of his country, they used to live on 66% of the nation that was over frozen land.”

Due to the constant fluctuation that has always characterized the climate and always will, sooner or later Siberia is bound to warm up. The agricultural potential is enormous. However, according to Biden, the possibility of nicer weather puts “the people of Russia … at risk.”

It would be better to be conquered by Putin and at least have electricity than to live under malevolent idiots like Kerry, who would have us shivering in the dark in the name of their goofy ideology.

Kerry drones that the invasion…

…will have a “monumental impact on the ability and willingness of people to do what’s necessary” to curb emissions, and it will be “very tough for the climate agenda, there’s no question about it.”

It is because of leadership that our country is shrinking into decline while Russia expands to fill the vacuum. As Alexander the Great observed, an army of sheep led by a lion will defeat an army of lions led by a sheep. An army of sheep led by a hamster would beat anything led by moonbats like Kerry and Biden.
