Lecturer Fired After Mixing Up Names of Black Students

Ancient Egyptians so revered cats that killing one even by accident was a capital offense. Our culture feels the same way about blacks. Causing one the slightest offense by accident is a cancelable offense, as a Fordham University lecturer discovered when he was fired for mixing up the names of two black students.

Via Fox News:

Christopher Trogan, a lecturer in Fordham University’s English department was terminated because of his response to an incident on Sept. 24 where he mixed up the names of two students who walked into class late. The students allegedly felt disrespected after the incident and believed the mistake was made because the two are both Black.

Trogan emailed his students in the Composition II class shortly after the incident occurred and addressed the mixup, apologizing for what he did.

Why apologize? It won’t be accepted as anything except proof that you did wrong.

Bleats Trogan:

“I have done my best to validate and reassure the offended student that I made a simple, human, error. It has nothing to do with race.”

As if they don’t know that. Being offended over nothing is how the perpetually aggrieved make you snivel and crawl.

The email Trogan sent to students also outlined “everything he has done for minorities,” according to the newspaper, and stated that the English class is “centered specifically and explicitly around issues of justice, equality, and inclusion.”

Not good enough. Nothing could ever be good enough.

There is a difference between asking for respect and demanding obsequiousness. Educrats are eager to enforce that demand.

On a tip from Dragon’s Lair.
