LGBT Militants: Deny Religious Colleges Accreditation

As mentioned previously, Joe Biden is a fervent ally of LGBT militants. What policies might he impose to please them? Zinnia Jones suggests giving all children puberty blockers. The Human Rights Campaign, an LGBT advocacy outfit, takes a different approach to suppressing normalcy. It wants to deny accreditation to religious colleges:

The Human Rights Campaign’s … Blueprint for LGBTQ Equality Under Biden recommends federal policies that, according to the organization, are “aimed at bettering the daily lives of LGBTQ people at home and abroad.”

Bettering their daily lives means forcibly transforming society to conform to their aberrancy.

With respect to religious institutions of higher education, the group recommends that the federal Department of Education “ensure nondiscrimination policies and science based curricula are not undermined by religious exemptions to accreditation standards.”

“Nondiscrimination” means discrimination in favor of those with political pull. “Science” refers to liberal dogma holding that men literally become women by saying they are women, men can menstruate, et cetera.

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Albert Mohler aptly describes this tactic as “sinister” and notes that HRC “is effectively calling for religious colleges and schools to be coerced into the sexual revolution or stripped of accreditation.”

It isn’t just the sexual revolution religious schools will be drafted into fighting for, but the still more degenerate and often nightmarish transsexual revolution.

Adds Owen Strachan, director of the Center of Public Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary,

“We pray that this policy will not come to fruition, for it is grossly unfair and makes a hash of the American principle of freedom of conscience, a freedom grounded in religious liberty.”

Right he is. The New York Times wants you to think America was founded on slavery. Actually, the opposite is true. It was founded by people seeking religious liberty, which is guaranteed in the Bill of Rights even before the right to bear arms.

Joe Cohn is Legislative and Policy Director of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education. He observes that the policy HRC is pushing for “would easily lead to setting up the government as the entity determining for all colleges what curricula count as being science-based.”

That would give this policy applications other than attacking Christianity and forcibly mainstreaming depravity. For example, according to liberal “science,” the planet is doomed if the climate continues to fluctuate as it always has, and our only salvation is punitive energy taxes and corrupt green energy boondoggles. Any school that refuses to comply with this dogma might lose accreditation.

If Democrats are able to impose this policy, the next step might be to deny accreditation to any college accused of employing a “racist.”

The progressive goal of absolute totalitarianism is coming into view.

On a tip from ABC of the ANC.
