Mamdani Declares Totalitarian Rule

Ronald Reagan famously said that the most terrifying words in the English language are, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” New York’s incoming Islamocommunist mayor has surpassed them:

“We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about.”

Government is everything. It makes all decisions, big and small, and enforces them on a coercive basis. It is inescapable in all matters. Those who do not run the government are its slaves.

The contrast between a Third World ruler and an American leader could not be starker:

Another Reagan quote applies more directly to New York:

“In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

Government by totalitarian kakistocracy is a problem New York will not survive as a great city.
