Yesterday, the media underwent a Hyde-to-Jekyll transformation, abruptly switching from a school of piranhas to a dewy-eyed amen corner where presidential politics are concerned.

As usual, CNN outpaces the competition when it comes to shamelessness. Via Summit News:

David Chalian, who is also the network’s VP, appeared on CNN to perform a groveling display of loyalty that wouldn’t look out of place in Pyongyang.

Chalian’s official title is “Vice President of Political Coverage and Political Director.”

After having first dismissed Trump as a “disgraced president” who is leaving at the “lowest point in his presidency,” Chalian might as well have got on his knees and started weeping when he addressed Biden.

“The contrast on display tonight was so stark. I mean, those lights that are just shooting out from the Lincoln Memorial along the reflecting pool, it’s like almost… extensions of Joe Biden’s arms embracing America,” said Chalian.

The even starker contrast is between yesterday’s ferociously hostile media and today’s sycophantic one.

Bear in mind that the subject of the MSM’s worship (and that of the celebritocracy) is a character we have come to know well over the course of his half-century as a DC swamp creature. Going back at least to 1987, when he invented Borking, Biden has distinguished himself for his hyperpartisan viciousness. He is infamously corrupt, cannot stop pawing and sniffing females of all ages, has been credibly accused of sexual assault, is never right on foreign policy according to Robert Gates, was always cognitively impaired, and now suffers from dementia.

No one in his right mind would trust Joe Biden to be night manager of a 7-Eleven; he is clearly not up to that level of responsibility.

But now that Big Media and Big Tech have installed him as a supposedly nonthreatening front for the radical left, we are supposed to pretend that he just descended a golden staircase from heaven to save us from our sins.

Just as Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia, Joe Biden has always been a Great Man, for all we will know from the politicized media establishment.

The cover this provides makes Biden’s handlers’ agenda all the more serious a threat to our fundamental rights, prominently including those enshrined in the First and Second Amendments.
