DEI means that we have to regard Neil deGrasse Tyson as a scientist. Watch him suggest that he knows less about basic biology than a well-informed grade schooler by dismissing the significance of chromosomes:

Since biology has been overruled in the name of moonbattery, maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up and decide I’m 80% tiger so that I can tear apart moonbats with my claws.
Tyson isn’t really this stupid. He deliberately plies the gullible with pernicious lies at the expense of science, which is getting subverted as surely as late night talk shows.
