Nightingale Pledge Repealed in Favor of Horror

Before moonbattery twisted society into an unfolding nightmare, nurses abided by the Nightingale Pledge. The original was written in 1893:

I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I shall abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous and shall not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I shall do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. I shall be loyal to my work and devoted towards the welfare of those committed to my care.

As part of the liberal establishment, the American Nurses Association has rejected this pledge in favor of the LGBT agenda by issuing a statement opposing laws and policies that protect children from being subjected to grotesque sex change procedures. The statement refers readers to propaganda promoting the ideologically motivated disfigurement of children.

If you want to see a scary movie this Halloween, try 1981’s Dead and Buried. Warning: it goes over the top when an evil nurse played by Lisa Blount comes into the room of a helpless guy in traction. About all you can see of him through the bandages is one eye. She sticks a needle into it.

The real horror comes not from the gruesomeness, but from knowing that we might find ourselves at the mercy of nurses, having to trust in the benevolence that normally characterizes the profession.

Imagine a scene like the one below, except featuring the sexual mutilation of a child. Not even Hollyweird would push the envelope that far. But the American Nurses Association would. With leftists in control, real life is more horrifying than the scariest movie.

Healthcare under moonbat rule.

On a tip from Franco.
