The establishment media is best known for portraying a warped and pernicious narrative at the expense of reality. But some journalists have the integrity to push back — like Vinny Martorano.
Yahoo News! admits:
Martorano, a multimedia journalist for the Sinclair-owned CBS affiliate in Austin, Texas, was covering dueling protests at the Texas Capitol on Saturday following the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.
During a Facebook Live stream, a crew member handed him a phone with what appeared to be a message from station management. When Martorano asked what it meant, the crew member replied: they didn’t want them to focus on this. Martorano paused, looked around at the crowd chanting behind him, and said he was going to cover it anyway.
Media management would prefer we see demonstrations like this, not demonstrations like this.
It’s called the Streisand Effect. Attempts to suppress the truth can result in shining a Klieg light on it. Millions have now viewed the clip. CBS Austin actually aired it.
Martorano was not promoting a right-wing narrative. He just wanted to report both sides. He succeeded.

"They don't want us to focus on this…"
"Alright. Well, I AM."
