Quiet Quitting
No one is likely to mistake moonbattery-addled Zoomers for the Greatest Generation. Now Generation Z is embracing the concept of “quiet quitting” by resolving to do the bare minimum at work.
This dynamo defines the mentality:
Post Millennial reports:
According to a Resume Builder survey, 21 percent of Americans are ‘quiet quitting.’ …
USA Today reports that the epidemic of quiet quitting is significantly impacting productivity, and that comes as the Federal Reserve is trying to rein in prices. The result is that the practice is contributing to inflation and companies are turning to job cuts and layoffs.
To quote G. Michael Hopf,
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
In the hard times ahead, people will come to treasure employment.
