Racially Tiered Discipline in Washington State Schools

All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. That’s why race will be explicitly taken into account when determining punishment for kids who need discipline in public schools in Washington State:

Via KOMO News:

The policy amendment passed the Clover Park School District’s (CPSD) school board on a 3 to 2 vote is allegedly in-line with state law passed in 2021 that compels school districts across Washington “to identify or develop and periodically update governance training programs that align with Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion standards for school director governance.”

This will entail “culturally responsive discipline.” That is, the soft bigotry of low expectations will be used to justify giving favored blacks more lenient punishment.

Blacks kids are more likely to misbehave, so they are more likely to be punished. But this violates the liberal principle of equity, so punishments will be adjusted accordingly.

Tough luck for kids who were born white, but in a caste system, someone has to be at the bottom.

If the injustice of race-based punishment is brought before the Supreme Court, we have a good idea how Ketanji Brown Jackson will vote. She has suggested that critical race theory should be applied when sentencing criminals.
