US Taxpayers Fund Ecuador Drag Theater

Leftists condemn colonialism with maximum righteousness, as if it were morally wrong of the hated British Empire to impose its culture and values by building railroads throughout Asia and Africa and virtually eliminating the slave trade that had existed since before recorded history. Once again, leftists are hypocrites. The Liberal World Order engages aggressively in its own colonialism — although the culture and values now imposed are very different:

The State Department awarded a $20,600 grant on Sept. 23 to the Centro Ecuatoriano Norteamericano (CEN), a non-profit organization supported by the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Ecuador, to “promote diversity and inclusion” in the region.

“Diversity and inclusion” mean moonbattery:

The project at CEN, which started Sept. 30 and runs until Aug. 31, 2023, will include “3 workshops,” “12 drag theater performances,” and a “2-minute documentary,” according to the State Department’s grant listed on the website.

Here’s how Foggy Bottom’s Antony Blinken types justify wasting our money in such an obnoxiously tasteless manner:

The grant to CEN is part of the State Department’s public diplomacy program, which seeks to “support the achievement of U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, advance national interests, and enhance national security by informing and influencing foreign publics and by expanding and strengthening the relationship between the people and government of the United States and citizens of the rest of the world,” the website states.

The rest of the world is encouraged to think we are repulsive degenerate perverts. This is how the gay pride flag flying over the American embassy in Kabul helped provide the Taliban with the public support needed to take over Afghanistan so instantly. There as elsewhere, advancing the LGBT agenda abroad has been a Biden Administration priority, taking precedence over American interests.
